When choosing a pick hammer note that:
- the МО-3B and МО-4B hammers are used at laborious work where increased impact energy is required.- the MO-2B hammers are used at lighter work (mining of soft coal of low and medium hardness etc.).
- the MO-1B hammers are used at light work (mining of clay, soft coal, ice cracking etc.).
- Hammers operate at compressed air pressure of min 0.3 MPa, max 0.5 MPa with the hose not longer than 12 meters and shank not longer than 70 mm.
Advantages:
- built-in vibroprotection which saves the operator from almost 75% of vibration, thus considerably decreases the danger of vibration disease (hands numbness) and allows to use the hammer at most without effort within a working shift.
- the hammers are equipped with noise mufflers which allows to decrease the sound power level by 2–4 times at all frequencies. This considerably diminishes the danger of hearing injuries at long-term operating the hammer.
- high per capita power consumption (impact power to weight ratio) of hammers makes work less fatiguing.
- Safety requirements of hammers are warranted by Conformance certificate of Russian State Standard POCC.RU.АЯ79.B55752.
