Upon the request, SP-8 can be equipped with the automatic oil-can M-1 and a side-flushing device UBP-2.
The oil-can M-1 is designed to spray oil into the compressed air in order to provide all-time lubrication of interacting surfaces of the SP-8 drill. The length of the hose linking the oil-can with the drill must be of 3-5 m. The oil-can consists of two fittings (dia. 25 mm) for the hose, mechanical purification filter, a ball valve. Oil supply is adjusted smoothly by turning the screw under the oil-can plug. Max oil consumption is 35 g/min when the screw makes 2,5-3,0 pivot turns starting from ‘locked’ position. (At ambient temperature of 200 C, compressed air pressure of 0,4 MPa, I30A type oil). Oil can capacity is 1,5 litres.
The side-flushing device UBP-2 is intended to supply water through the rotating drill rod to the blast hole. The side-flushing device is comprised of quick-split fitting for the hose of up tp 10 mm in diameter, a ball valve, a fork mounted on the drill reductor which holds the devices and prevents their rotation. Drill rod shank must be 35 mm in length and have M20 thread to be linked to the device. Specifications:
