Electric mining drill ER18D-2М

Electric mining drills ER18D-2M, ERP18D-2M (with a drive mechanism) are applied in mining industry for boring blast holes in coal of different hardness, including operation in gaseous-and-dusty working mines. Despite electric drills ERP18D-2M (with a drive mechanism) can be used for boring blast holes in rocks of medium and low hardness in roadway development.

Electric drills are comprised of an electric motor with control gear and a reducer. Electric motor EDZK is used in both ER18D-2M and ERP18D-2M drills. A single-stage reducer is used for the model ER18D-2M and a two-stage reducer for ERP18D-2M.

Connector assembly RSh is used to connect electric drill to the starting unit. It can also be applied for changing rotating sense of drill spindle shaft if necessary.

Advantages:

• All electric drills produced by the plant have an explosion-proof version. Permissibility is achieved by enclosing all the electric elements of the motor in the explosion-proof housing.
• For ease of their usage electric drills are furnished with remote control equipment.
• Testing the drills in hard conditions of gaseous-and-dusty mines has proved reliable performance of ER18D-2M and ERP18D-2M.
