Unitized equipment set provides two options of control (manual and automatic), unit operation in normal and reverse modes; partial adjustment of fan delivery due to the change of engine speed and turning the wheel blades of a distributor while running; automatic activation of a reserve fan in case of emergency outage of the running fan; automatic load transfer to a low voltage mode; automatic reclosure of fan drive when it shuts down during the short-term loss (to 9 s) or drastic mains voltage drop; air stream reverse without fan stoppage. In case of emergency the unit automatically shuts down. A controller is given light and sound signals. According to the safety requirements, the present mine workings ventilation unit consists of two fans: a running and a reserved one and a set of tools for air stream reversion and shift from running to reserved fan.Advantages:
- blades of the fan are made of non-inflammable material
- if temperature exceeds the normal value, the fan can be shut down
- economic
- can be applied for small mine workings ventilation
- fans’ design allows concatenating of two fans in order to rise pipeline pressure
