The drill can be applied in mining – in gaseous-and-dusty mines; in rock and construction industry. It’s applicable at any places if there is compressed air and the drill is allowed to be used. The drill is comprised of a motor, a reductor, a starting device, rotation control. A blocking device provides safety during tools change.
PR-8 hand drill operates with the automatic oil-can M-1 which provides all-time lubrication of interacting surfaces during the shift as well as a long-term and stable performance of the drill. The length of the hose linking the oil-can with the drill must be of 3-5 m. The oil-can consists of two fittings (dia. 25 mm) for the hose, mechanical purification filter, a ball valve. Oil supply is adjusted smoothly by turning the screw under the oil-can plug. Max oil consumption is 35 g/min when the screw makes 2,5-3,0 pivot turns starting from ‘locked’ position. (At ambient temperature of 200 C, compressed air pressure of 0,4 MPa, I30A type oil).
