| The ТКG-100, ТКG-160, ТКG-200, ТКG-300, ТКG-400, ТКG-500, ТКG-600, ТКG-700, ТКG-800 type shoe brakes with electrohydraulic pushers are designed for hold-up and stoppage of shaft mechanisms (mainly of material handling machines) in a braked state with non-operating drive. They are applied in mining, metallurgy and other branches of industry. The brakes are mounted vertically (with horizontal pulley axle) on mechanisms designed for operation in fire risk and explosive conditions. When mounted on the outdoor usage mechanisms the brakes shall be covered with housing to prevent from precipitation and the effects of sun radiation. The brakes can be operated in the following climatic conditions: Y2, T2 or HL2 according to GOST 15150-69. Shoe brakes shall be used in the following conditions: ambient temperature from –40 to +40˚C; relevant humidity 80% at 20˚C; environment should not contain gases or vapour destructive to metal and rubber. The shoe brake assembly consists of a lever brake (1) and an electrohydraulic pusher (2). The lever brake consists of a base with the levers (4, 5, 6) and shoes (7) mounted on it, an adjustable bolt (8), a rod (9) and a spring (3). Brakes dimensions, set and connection sizes:
